Venice in Italy might not be the place you would expect to find vintage shops. But I have found quite a few and made some really good bargains. Heres my list;
Penny Lane Vintage
Here you can get Fellini-worthy vintage and oversize italian seventies sunglasses at really good prizes. Sorry, but they don’t have a website.
Penny Lane Vintage, Salizada San Pantalon 39, Santa Croce, Venizia
Water bus stop: Ferrovia
Vintage a Go Go
This is one of my favorites. Its small and was closed last time I was in Venice – the owner went on holiday. And it had a bag that I had to have in the window. Very frustrating. My boyfriend and I had spent half a day trying to find it . Guess how happy he was to find it closed…
Vintage a Go Go, Calle Lunga San Barnaba 2255, Venezia
Waterbus stop: Ca´Rezzonico
As you like
Ysl, Balenciaga and Gucci.Women and Mens clothing, crocodile bags, shoes, accessories, etc…
Campiello R. Selvatico, 5671 Cannaregio (between Rialto & Strada Nova), Venezia
Carpe Diem
Carpe Diem is a luxury vintage shop situated just a five mimute walk from San Marco.
Sestiere San Marco, 2516, 30124 Venezia

In general things is hard to find in Venice!
But dont try to hard, just get lost in Venice – thats my best advice. I once spend a hole day looking for one of the shops and when I found it, it was closed- Bummer! Hope you like Venice – I love it!And have a really nice trip. The area around Dorsoduro is really nice. And Campo Santa Magherita is also nice.

If it gets to hot, you can go to the Lido (beach) for a day. Takes just 1/2 an hour. Also try to do some homework regarding restaurants – theres a lot of bads ones and excellent ones! Lonely Planet some pretty good suggestions. Also go to Giudecca. The Island across the channel. Nice for a coffee. The further you get away from the Markus Square, the better it gets!

I stumbled across Carpe Diem today (perfect red Chanel jacket…alas, slightly small!) and an internet search for more vintage shops brought me to you. Tried to find As You Like today and it appears to be a different shop now. Does anyone know if they moved?

I’m moving to Venice for a season in three weeks and will be browsing for a wedding dress in these vintage shops. If you have any updates on venice I would love to know. Thanks so much for this!
If I find anything new I will post it.

No updates – sorry. Mind you that while venice is not vintage heaven, there are some really good ones! I have been there the last time about a year ago.
